These terms apply to paid sessions with Second Nature, a Luminair Systems product provided by Luminair Pty Ltd (ABN 40 628 811 003) (“we”, “us”), including the Discovery Session. Larger engagements, such as a Tipping Point pilot or a full diagnostic, are covered by a separate written agreement or your council’s purchase order terms.
A Discovery Session includes a pre-read of the plans and data you share, a facilitated half-day session with your team (on site or online), and a written Discovery Summary within 10 business days of the session.
The summary sets out key and emerging challenges and opportunities, your priorities and available resources, and a recommended scope for a Tipping Point pilot.
The Discovery Session costs $4,300 excluding GST ($4,730 including GST). All prices on this website exclude GST unless stated. We issue a tax invoice with our ABN for every payment.
You can pay by card through Stripe’s secure checkout, or request an invoice or purchase order. Card payments are suitable for council purchasing cards, subject to your council’s own procurement and card policies. We never see or store your card details.
Invoices are payable within 14 days unless your council’s purchase order terms say otherwise. We schedule the session once payment is received or a purchase order is issued.
We’ll contact you within two business days of payment to agree a date, usually within four weeks. You can reschedule free of charge up to five business days before the session. Later changes are accommodated where possible, once per booking.
If you cancel more than five business days before the session, we’ll refund your payment in full, or hold it as a credit if you prefer. If you cancel within five business days, we’ll hold the full amount as a credit towards a rescheduled session or other Second Nature work for 90 days. Once the session has been delivered, the fee is not refundable.
If we need to cancel, we’ll offer a new date or a full refund. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The full Discovery Session fee is credited against a Tipping Point pilot for the same council when the pilot is engaged within 90 days of the session. The credit can’t be exchanged for cash or transferred to another organisation.
Online sessions include no travel costs. In-person sessions in South East Queensland include travel. For in-person sessions elsewhere, travel and accommodation are charged at cost and agreed with you before booking.
We treat everything you share as confidential and use it only to deliver your session. We are happy to sign a mutual confidentiality agreement, or your council’s own. We recognise that councils may need to disclose information under their statutory obligations, such as Right to Information requests and audit.
Your council owns its data. Your Discovery Summary is yours to use within your organisation. Our methods, frameworks, tools and templates, including the Holdfast Method™, the Lever Map, Priority Levers and the Ideas to Impact Map, remain the intellectual property of Luminair Pty Ltd (Luminair Systems).
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a paid session is limited to the fee paid for that session.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
